VACANCY | Academy Coach

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our progressive-performance Academy as a Part-Time Academy Coach.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of footballers within the Academy and national games programmes. The principle responsibilities will be to plan, deliver and review coaching sessions in addition to preparing and coaching your assigned team on matchdays in alignment with our academy strategy and vision. Positions are available on a paid and voluntary basis, and Ross County FC commits to developing people with additional training and CPD available.

We would expect the successful candidate to have had experience working with similar age groups(U13s-U16s) previously.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

ESSENTIAL

  • UEFA ‘A’ ‘B’ ‘C’ Licence, SFA Advanced Children’s Licence or SFA Children’s Award
  • In date Safeguarding Certificate
  • First Aid Qualification
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Organisational and administrational skills
  • Ability to work within a team effectively and efficiently
  • Enthusiasm towards the role and its requirements

DESIRABLE

  • Knowledge of the local area
  • Links within the local grassroots game
  • Experience working within Academy Football

HOURS OF WORK: Evenings & Weekends

SALARY: Competitive.
