watch young staggies in action across the highlands this weekend!
15/08/2025
A weekend with no Ross County fixture could leave you with a loose end. However, there are plenty of young Ross County talents who will be playing their part in matches across the local area.
Strathspey Thistle vs Devronvale
Seafield Park - 3:00PM.
Calum Brown and Jamie Williamson are having a fantastic start to the season with Strathspey, and will be looking to build on an astounding 4-1 win away to Buckie Thistle. Calum Brown netted twice in the match midweek and will be looking to add to his Highland League tally for the season. Jamie Williamson started the game and proved a strong and key addition to Ryan Esson's midfield.
Keith vs Clachnacuddin
Kynoch Park - 3:00PM
In a 5-0 victory over Inverurie Loco's, Ross County midfielder Copeland Thain made his debut for the Lillywhites. Having recently made his Ross County first-team debut, Copeland will be looking to better his game at every opportunity under the guidance of former Ross County striker Conor Gethins.
Thurso vs Invergordon
The Dammies - 1:00PM.
A chance to see four Staggies in action, as our collaboration with Invergordon saw Torran Lambie, Lewis Mackay, Rio Hastings and Jayden Reid all make North Caledonian League debuts in a 3-0 win over local rivals Alness United.
Torran opened the scoring on the night and caused a handful for defenders. Goalkeeper Jayden Reid kept a clean sheet while Rio Hastings and Lewis Mackay stood out with positive performances.
The quartet travel north with Invergordon to face Thurso, where they will look to get more key game time in the development of their careers.
