Welcome Jack Burroughs

Jack Burroughs has today become Malky Mackay’s eighth summer signing, joining on a season-long loan from Coventry City FC.

20-year-old Jack has been at Coventry City since he was 9 years old, progressing through their ranks signing professionally in 2018, a few days after making his first team debut for The Sky Blues during an EFL Trophy match against Forest Green Rovers. Jack is a current Scotland U21 International having been selected during impressive loan spells in the National league and within Coventry’s academy.

As well as being an athletic central midfielder, Jack can also play on both the right and left sides, with this versatility earning him his debut in the Championship last season in Coventry’s final two league games. He has recently signed a new long-term contract after impressing this pre-season, with Coventry allowing him to develop further in this loan move to the SPFL.

The club are excited to be playing our part in the next stage of Jack’s development during his spell with us in Dingwall.

He is an athletic and powerful runner as well as being versatile with the positions he can play. He is a player we have tracked for some time particularly over pre-season where he has played a number of key positions for Coventry, a versatility we can certainly use this season. He is a talented young man that I look forward to working with closely."
