White extends County Contract

08/03/2022

Jordan White is the latest Ross County player to commit his future to the club, today signing a new two-year deal at the Global Energy Stadium that will see him with us until Summer 2024.

Since joining in January 2021, Jordan has been a mainstay in the Ross County attack scoring 9 goals in 46 matches as well as creating the joint 3rd highest number of assists this season in the Scottish Premiership.

After scoring a momentous goal on his debut against Hamilton Accies last season, Jordan also headed home the winner against Celtic here in Dingwall last February in what was a strong start to his County career, ultimately playing his part in securing top-flight survival for County. This season White has continued his momentum with a further 5 goals, including in all 3 fixtures against reigning Champions Rangers.

On Jordan's new deal, Manager Malky Mackay has said “We are really happy to have re-signed Jordan for Ross County. Everybody can see what he adds to us, not just in terms of scoring but his work rate, being a focal point at the top end of the pitch and his assist rate this season has been fabulous.”

“Again, Jordan is a senior player in the dressing room who sets standards and wants to help push the club forward and those are key attributes we look for in our players. Jordan has been brilliant since joining the club and it was only right that we recognise and reward his contributions.”
