Yan Dhanda becomes a Staggie

Yan Dhanda has today become Malky Mackay’s second summer addition at Ross County FC.

Ross County are delighted to secure the services of Yan on a two-year deal, following interest from a range of clubs across England and beyond.

Beginning at West Bromwich Albion, Yan’s performances as a youngster led to him joining Liverpool’s prestigious academy in 2013. During his time in Merseyside, Yan displayed fine performances at for his youth teams which resulted in him being called up for England at various Youth levels. In total, Yan would spend 5 years at Liverpool, in his final year returning impressive displays in Premier League 2 before joining Championship side, Swansea City.

After joining Swansea, Yan scored on his debut for The Swans as he made an instant impact in Wales. During his time in Wales, 23-year-old Yan made 62 appearances for the Championship club.

As a highly promising young talent with his best years yet to come, Ross County are excited to bring Yan to the Highlands for the next two years.

Manager Malky Mackay has said: “We are absolutely thrilled to bring Yan to Dingwall. Yan is a player that our recruitment department have targeted for a period of time. Over the past few months I have had some really positive dialogue with both Yan and his advisors, and we are delighted to now have him joining us.”
