Restructuring

10/06/2020

Following a review of club operations, Ross County have implemented a range of operational and personnel changes taking effect immediately across the club. These changes have been made to support the future operations of the club and to maximise the opportunities the club can undertake during this challenging period.

Firstly, Steven Ferguson, who has enjoyed a successful two-and-a-half-year spell as Co-Manager with Stuart Kettlewell- guiding the club to Championship success, Challenge Cup success and Premiership safety, has moved to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Steven will have an over-arching responsibility for all departments within the club and will continue to support Stuart in delivering a range of first team functions. Steven’s wealth of experience within the club will be a huge asset to this role that will mean focusing and developing each function of the organisation including the football, commercial, operations, academy and community departments.

Stuart Kettlewell will now lead the club as First Team Manager. Stuart will be supported by Richie Brittain as Assistant Manager, and Don Cowie as First Team Coach. The new First Team Management have been working proactively on shaping the future of the football operations of the club.

A thorough and extensive review of club operations has been carried out in recent weeks. Although there has been a reduction in head count, it is felt the club is in a stronger position to handle the very difficult challenges that have faced us in recent times and will continue to test us in the upcoming months.
